Alfred Dunhill improved the patent of Greenwood & Wise from 1919 and in 1924 the UNIQUE lighter was introduced.
The Unique with horizontal flint tube can be operated in one hand and was produced in four (A, B, C, D) sizes, “A” was the smallest.
Their Rollagas lighters are their best selling collection thanks to an iconic design that retains the functionality of a classic lighter.
At e Lighters, we also offer the Unique Pocket and Unique Turbo series lighters.

One of the best luxury butane lighters in the market, Dunhill will provide you with confidence with every smoke.
Each Rollagas comes with a serial number that includes the date of manufacture.
However, because the Dunhill company doesn't make its serial-number-deciphering method public, if you want to date your Rollagas, you'll have to contact customer service.
Anything with a patent number or serial number is in the 70's or later.
Anything before the 70's may just say PATENTED and the serial number is inside the casing.
It is not recommended to disassemble yourself but if you keep the bank in tact and just unscrew it from the case, you're fine.
