The team is using TFS to track the backlog and they break down the PBI's into multiple task's and assign the hours against each.
Now, the team is achieving the sprint goal but they are not updating their task state (WIP, Done etc) and reducing the hours which are left on that.
If you choose to participate, the online survey will be presented to you when you leave the Technet Web site.

Help please :) Roni Notice: The information contained in this email message and any attached files may be confidential information, and may also be the subject of legal professional privilege.
The two web methods you’ll need are shown below: Once you select the right TFS, press the Update button and the utility should take care of kicking off a run and polling until the warehouse is idle again.
I posted the source here, please give it a try and let me know what you think.
Anyways, the burndown operates off the Work Remaining fields of the Tasks, you need to update that appropriately.
You should set start and end dates for the sprints themselves.
In the past, I've had a problem that the TFSSERVICE user was not given "log on as a service" rights in the domain.
When installing TFS and when updating the TFSSERVICE credential in the service viewer "log on as a service" would get added to that user on the local machine but when that machine rebooted (to pick up windows updates etc) then the TFS service would stop running and the warehouse would not get updated. The warehouse web service (see Grant's post) was not available. Although it's typically quite reliable we find it's necessary to just keep an eye on it and to make sure it's updating correctly.
So, I just wanted to understand what is the most effective way so that team keeps on updating tasks daily, so that everyone is updated with how much work is remaining?
Most standups happen around a Scrum board where it should be obvious if task states are not being updated or burndown looks poor.
