On Windows, a persistent connection is not a concern, as Windows preserves applications and keeps them running, even after a remote desktop session is disconnected. When the upgrade process is running, do not interrupt Plesk Installer or reboot the server.
Parallels has released significant updates since the early release dates of these products, and these updates are available for free to current customers.
Note: If Plesk is installed in a container using Virtuozzo containers templates, consider performing an upgrade using templates.

You will first be told if there are any updates available.
Select the “Install or Upgrade Product” You will see the upgrades available and select “Continue” or if you wish you may select “Continue” and the upgrade will begin. You may also select “Update Components” And you will see the components to select Once you have selected the components you wish to upgrade, select “Continue” Upon selecting ”Continue” Plesk will automatically upgrade the selected components.
Be aware: You will be prompted by the wizard to enter various settings such as which Plesk version, select the components that you want upgraded, etc. It is recommended that you have Plesk notify you when upgrades are available.
After you select the release you want in Tools & Settings Updates and Upgrades.
If you click the option “Download Plesk installer for Linux”, you’ll see the actual script open in a new browser tab.
Not what we want, although you could copy and paste this into a new file on your Linux system.
To quit the installer, press Q and then press Enter. You can also call the script with several options, for a full list of those call it with “–help”.
